Women Who Run with the Wolves Program
“The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.”
Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype
This 12-week online program will explore a wide range of themes — from intuition and instincts, ego and soul and life and death cycles to innocence and naivety, righteous anger and forgiveness, secrets and shame as well as addictions and true nourishment.
Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés, a Jungian psychoanalyst, poet, and storyteller, examines the wild woman archetype in her book, "Women Who Run with the Wolves."
She wrote it to help women on their healing journeys and to provide guidance, feeling that traditional psychology often overlooked female archetypes in favor of male figures.
Through her stories, she offers ways to reclaim lost parts of ourselves, regain personal power, and return to our true essence, empowering women to live meaningful lives, use their unique gifts and find their true voices.
"Women Who Run with the Wolves" is a seminal work that explores the wild, instinctual nature of women through myths, fairy tales, and folklore. Estés provides a roadmap for women to reconnect with their innate, wild selves, encouraging them to embrace their natural instincts, creativity and power.
The book has become a classic in women's literature and psychology, offering profound insights into self-discovery and healing.
Its themes of empowerment, intuition, and the life-death-life cycle make it a timeless guide for women seeking to understand and honor their true nature.

About the Facilitator
I’m Shreen Shukla, a transpersonal hypnotherapist, labor and delivery doula, yoga and meditation instructor, mother, embodiment guide, workshop facilitator and women’s circle host.
For over 7 years I have been guiding and supporting 1-on-1 clients as well as hosting workshops and gatherings in India, Thailand, China and the United States.
I am passionate about offering decolonized models of healing and my favorite way to do that is by curating powerful and transformational experiences for groups in addition to isolated, individual-centered experience.
I believe that community and connection are the most natural and potent containers for growth, healing and transformation.
Women Who Run with the Wolves is an iconic and important tool for the modern woman. I experienced a massive transformation when I took a 3-month course on this book in 2019 and welcomed my daughter Rasa into the world immediately after I finished the program.
The stories and work we did in that program as a group supported me and gave me tools as I transitioned from maiden to mother and still helps guide me in various areas of my life to this day.
I am equally honored and excited to welcome you into this program. It will be an initiation, a shedding, a re-wilding and it will change you forever.
You will bond with the women in this container and make life-long friends. It’s going to be really special.
If you feel called to join, just trust that instinct.
